Hi there! My name is Ben Caruso, I am a very hungry junior art director and RMIT Graduate that aims to use creativity in a way that is remembered.
I have a great knowledge and craft skills in the Adobe Suite (being a killer in premiere pro, photoshop and illustrator). My hobbies (apart from advertising) are drawing, painting, music, photography, film, poetry and writing. I am also involved in extra-curricular bodies and events including 2021 Hungry Talks and being an RMIT Ambassador at Renegades games.
Without knowing it these hobbies have built the foundation of my excellency in creative thinking, art direction and awesomeness.
Throughout the years I have aimed to satisfy my hunger for creativity that never ends. This has made me persistent and determined to crack briefs and develop creative solutions that will be remembered forever. I have been very lucky to get a taste of the business though internships at M&C Saatchi Open House, ohtheplacesyou'llgo, Canadian Club Promotions & Advertising Installations at PWRSCE Global and freelance art direction work for a property valuer.
A few of my achievements include being a part of 1 out of 5 Australian teams who took home a 2021 D&AD New Blood Pencil and being selected during first and second year to pitch my ideas to clients such as Arbee Craft. This has fired up my ambition and determination to make a mark on the industry.
I am hard working, confident (being able to master a pitch), and most of all ready to roll up my sleeves and get started.
